Vicksburg Intermediate is located in the southern zone of the Vicksburg Warren School District.  The school first opened its doors in the fall of 1999 serving all fifth and sixth grade students in the zone.  In the fall of 2005, the building became a third through sixth grade school.  The current population is about 500 third through sixth graders.  The school is located outside the city limits on a rural road with students being transported to school by car or bus.  Vicksburg Intermediate is a two story building that is connected to Dana Road Elementary which serves Pre-K through second grade.
