VWSD SCHOOLS AND OFFICES CLOSED FRIDAY, JANUARY 12, 2024
All VWSD schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 12th due to anticipated severe weather during morning bus routes. Leaders with the VWSD have consulted with Warren County Emergency Management, and storm activity will potentially impact safe travel, making it difficult for high profile vehicles (school buses). The National Weather Service is anticipating damaging winds up to 70 mph, and quarter size hail are possible with any severe storms that develop. A chance of tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
We are monitoring weather for the return of students and staff Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and we will provide updates Monday, January 15, 2024 by 2:00pm. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Please stay weather aware.
