The Warren Central High School (WCHS) Big Blue Band proudly represented Vicksburg Warren School District as they traveled to the University of Memphis to compete in the prestigious 2024 Bandmasters Championship. Invited to participate in this highly regarded event, the Big Blue Band took the stage with exceptional talent, competing against top marching bands from Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, and Mississippi.
The Bandmasters Championship, designed to showcase excellence in scholastic marching bands across the Mid-South, is known for its high standards and competitive environment. It brings together the best of the best, where bands are challenged to perform at peak levels in areas such as visual effect, musicality, and overall presentation.
The Vikings, known for their dedication and skill, did not disappoint. Big Blue claimed several top honors in Class AAA, including:

6th Place Overall Band
