During Week 2 of the Summer Camp Enrichment and Readers Program at Sherman Avenue Elementary School, children from diverse backgrounds came together to explore different reading adventures and showcase their skills and passion for literature.
By the end of Week 2, the children had improved their reading skills and developed a greater love for books and storytelling. The camp buzzed with excitement as everyone looked forward to the upcoming weeks filled with more literary adventures and learning opportunities.
The 2024 Summer Camps include Kinder Bridging(P{re-K students entering into Kindergarten) Little Readers (struggling readers who receive extra support with reading skills), and S.T.R.E.A.M.ing Enrichment which involves students completing project-based learning that involves Science, Technology, Reading, Art, and Math. The camp runs from May 29, 2024- June 20, 2024, from 8 AM-12:00 PM at Sherman Avenue Elementary School
