On Tuesday, September 17th, the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) released accountability grades for schools and districts based on the 2023-2024 student assessment data.
Dana Road has now been designated as a B school based on those results! When speaking with students and staff during a schoolwide celebration, Principal LaShonda Keyes stated "We are so proud of the students and staff at Dana Road! This is a historical accomplishment and shows that hard work pays off!".
Assistant Principal NaKisha Davis encouraged students to "make sure you congratulate students at our sister school (Vicksburg Intermediate School) as well as your teachers because their hard work has laid the foundation for you to continue to grow and make us proud!"
